Interface's offices are located within the Edinburgh Research & Innovation building in the heart of the University of Edinburgh central campus, just a few minutes walk from the city centre.

From the University's Old College in South Bridge, cross over the road into Drummond Street and head down towards the Pleasance.

Approximately 200m down this road, turn right into Roxburgh Street. Interface's offices are on the corner facing back up towards South Bridge.

Alternatively follow our general guides for various methods of transport below.

Travelling by Bus

The nearest bus stops to Interface's Offices are on South Bridge and Nicholson Street. These bus stops are served by Lothian Buses with services 3, 5, 7, 8, 14, 29, 30, 31, 33, 37 and 49 all running up/down South Bridge.

From the bus stops, walk towards Old College, which is approximately 600m away from these stops.

Travelling by Car

From outside Edinburgh, the easiest way to reach Interface's offices by car is via the "Straiton Junction" on the City Bypass. Leave the bypass at this point and turn first left at the roundabout towards the "City Centre" (A701). Continue until you reach a small roundabout at the end of Liberton Road. Take the second turning on the left (effectively straight on) into Craigmillar Park Road, and continue up through a series of traffic lights until you see the Festival Theatre on your left (Nicholson Street). Take the next turning on your right into Drummond Street and follow the local directions to Interface's offices.

From the North - From the Forth Road Bridge, continue along the A90 towards "Edinburgh", joining onto Queensferry Road just before the Barnton junction. Turn right at this junction onto Maybury Road and continue until it reaches the Maybury junction. Turn right and follow the signs for the "City Bypass" (A720). Once on the bypass, continue round until you see the exit marked "Straiton Junction".

From the West - From the M8 motorway, continue to the end of the motorway to you come to a large roundabout (Hermiston Gait junction). At the roundabout, take the third exit signposted "City Bypass" (A720). Continue until you reach the exit signposted "Straiton Junction".

From the South/East - From the A1, before you reach Edinburgh you will see a junction signposted for "City Bypass" (A720). Take this exit (first left) and follow the A720 northbound. At the first roundabout (Sheriffhall Junction), take the third turning and continue on the A720 until you reach the exit signposted "Straiton Junction".

Car Parking - For visitors to Interface with their own car, there is short-term metered parking in Roxburgh Street and surrounding streets, subject to availability. Alternatively, there are National Car Parks in St John's Hill (in Holyrood Road) and Niddry Street (just off the High Street).

Travelling by Rail

Waverley Station is Edinburgh's major rail terminus, with services accessing Scotland (via Scotrail) and the rest of the UK (via GNER and Virgin Rail).

From Waverley Railway Station, Interface's offices are a 10 minute drive (by taxi) and a 15 minute walk (shorter route). If you are walking, leave the station via the exit ramp and turn left on Waverley Bridge.

At the mini-roundabout, go straight over, up Cockburn Street and cross over the Royal Mile (High Street) into South Bridge at the traffic lights. Walk approximately 600m up South Bridge (past Old College on your right).

Take the next turning on your right into Drummond Street and follow the local directions to Interface's offices.

If you don't need/want to stretch your legs after your rail journey, you could use one of the many taxis from the taxi rank within the station.

Travelling by Air

Edinburgh Airport (to the west of the city) is well served by regular routes to/from airports throughout the UK and Europe, with connecting flights enabling access from all over the world.

We would recommend a taxi to bring you directly to Interface's offices - there are a number of Airport Taxis available to hire from the terminal.

Alternatively, there is a regular Airlink bus service which will bring you right into the city centre.
