UWS is Scotland's largest modern university, with campuses in Ayr, Dumfries, Hamilton and Paisley. We aim to be an innovative provider of accessible higher education across the West of Scotland - an inspiring place to study and a rewarding place to work.

We have an earnest commitment to industry. Our goal is to work in partnership with willing businesses to make them more successful and to contribute to achieving a stronger economy for Scotland.  In industry collaborations we compare favourably with other institutions and are one of the most active Universities in Scotland for Knowledge Transfer activity.

As recognition of our strength in this area we have received awards at UK level, but more importantly we have positively affected many organisations through developing new processes, systems, strategies and marketing plans.
