The Institute for System Level Integration provides postgraduate education, professional training and research in system level integration and system-on-chip technologies.

The Engineering Doctorate in System Level Integration is a partnership of the electronics industry with the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heriot-Watt and Strathclyde.

Recent well-qualified and highly motivated graduates, as well as working engineers with significant industrial experience are sponsored throughout a four-year programme.

The student is sponsored by the industrial partner. -

The majority of time is spent onsite with the sponsoring company, working as an integral part of the sponsor's team.

The student will submit a doctoral thesis on the real industry project they have undertaken.
