Corporate Social Responsibility

Scottish Economic Strategy

The Scottish Economic Strategy sets out an over-arching framework on how to increase competitiveness and tackle inequality in Scotland.

Four priorities are identified in which it is believed that actions can make a substantial difference.

  • Investment
  • Innovation
  • Internationalisation
  • Inclusive Growth

Horizontal Themes

There are three horizontal themes at the core of Government policy that are aimed at making a positive difference to our society.

  • Environmental Sustainability
  • Equal Opportunities
  • Social Inclusion

“By mainstreaming Interface’s support for the three Horizontal Themes, we can help to deliver positively towards the Scottish Economic Strategy.”

Our values demonstrate our commitment to being impartial, open and fair and we personally commit to continuous improvement and development.

Interface aims to create the conditions whereby staff and all organisations and people that access our services are selected and treated solely on the basis of their merits, abilities and potential, regardless of gender, colour, ethnic or national origin, race, disability, age, socio-economic background, religious or political beliefs, trades union membership, family circumstances, sexual orientation or other irrelevant distinction. The Equal Opportunities Policy seeks to eradicate unfair and discriminatory practices wherever they occur and to encourage a diverse community in which all individuals may contribute as fully as possible.

In addition to our own areas of responsibility we have supported many companies whose core business objectives also support the themes. These are some examples of companies that we have worked with:

Environmental Sustainability

Equal Opportunities

Social Inclusion
