Alan Polkinghorne
Alan Polkinghorne of APMW Limited, a specialist in land remediation and developments, was interested in exploring eco-friendly wall insulation. Through Interface - The knowledge connection for business, Alan Polkinghorne is working in collaboration with University of Strathclyde, Department of Design Manufacture and Engineering Management, and also with the Mackintosh School of Architecture at Glasgow School of Art. The project will investigate the feasibility of developing system that installs a new form of insulation into the wall cavities of established buildings.
