Abertay Games Prototype grant
Closing Date: 28 July 2010
General Information:
If you are aspiring to create a new games development company, or run one already, the University of Abertay, Dundee is offering up to £25,000 of support for applicants to create a prototype of your own IP. Your application will be judged against criteria such as the relative level of innovation, the line of sight to market, the talent level of the applicants themselves and the potential to achieve the outcome within the resources available. In addition the University of Abertay will also work with commissioning partners interested in stimulating a new supply chain incorporating small games developers or similar companies, who will retain their original IP.
How to Apply:
The best way to start is to contact the team at the University of Abertay. You will be guided through the application process to help you submit the strongest possible application. You will be asked to complete a short pitch document and once that has been approved you will be invited to submit a more comprehensive proposal document and project plan.
Eligibility:
We will accept applications either directly without such commissioning or indirectly via commissioner interest.
